Thought I would share with you a fun walk that doesn’t take too long to complete. In essence the walk takes in three Rissington villages: Upper, Great and Little Rissington.
Will add a map later.
Basically leave Upper Rissington towards Barrington on the road, before turning right towards Great Rissington (the turn is at Upper Rissington Hall). If you plan it correctly you can take in the Lamb Inn for lunch or maybe an afternoon break before leaving Great Rissington towards Little Rissington on the Byway. Once in Little Rissington head up the hill towards Upper Rissington and then turn right to finish along Sandy Lane.
Unsure of the distance – but it generally takes 1 hour 40 minutes.
NB: If you just want a pie and a pint you can cycle to Great Rissington and visit the Lamb Inn as we did today. Or walk only to Great Rissington as we did last week.
