Rotary Club of the North Cotswolds

You may well have heard of Rotary International, the world’s largest voluntary
service organisation, with its network of clubs. The chances are you won’t know much about it, or what it does. You probably won’t think it has much relevance to you!

Rotary is in Upper Rissington in the shape of three of us who are very involved in the activities of our local club, North Cotswolds. We are a friendly, informal club, meeting every week at Naunton Downs Golf Club. Attendance at meetings is entirely voluntary, but the more often you can come along, the more you will get out of the friendships you will make.

We enjoy organising a wide number of fund-raising events throughout the year for a variety of causes, both at home and internationally. Within the local community we carry out many projects and activities aimed at helping to improve quality of life. We work with the Cotswold School to encourage young peoples’ talents and opportunities; we support the elderly and disabled.

Internationally, we support projects in Africa. We combine fun with service and enjoy great camaraderie. We are looking forward to meeting ladies and gentlemen in Upper Rissington who, like us, wants to make a World of Difference.
