Update: Residential Burglary – Whiteshots Hill Bourton

  • Gloucestershire police incident 170 18/11/18.

Police were called to a burglary in progress to a property at Whiteshoots Hill, Bourton-on-the-Water at 11:30am Sunday 18th November. A white male with a foreign accent came from a house after he was disturbed by the owner. The offender drove off in a Grey Suzuki registration WU65 AXZ.

This car is on stolen number plates.

A similar incident was later reported in Bibury where a house was entered and again the offender was disturbed by the owners. This took place at 12:50hrs on Sunday 18th November and police are linking these two incidents. Incident 192 18/11/18 refers.

Vehicle Details Appeal – Update

Police released the details of a Grey Suzuki Swift registration WU65 AXZ after a burglary on White Shoots Hill Bourton-on-the-Water Sunday 18th November.

The number plates to this vehicle have been found dumped in Sherborne and were stolen from a car in Lechlade.

The Grey Suzuki is now thought to be on more stolen number plates – registration MK59UPE.

A burnt out vehicle at Dormy House Hotel has been found not to be this vehicle (Gloucestershire police incident 424 18/11/18 refers)
