The sound of chatting and laughter is what greets people who come along to Pioneers on alternate Wednesdays in the Community Room of the Village Hall. About 15-18 people come along each time and enjoy coffee, cake and company.
On Wednesday 6th December, Sheryl Murray from the Cotswold Friends joins us to tell us about the services the Cotswold Friends provide.
Then on Wednesday 20th December, as a one-off, we meet at the Wyck Rissington Village Hall for pre-Christmas nibbles and carol singing.
The Pioneers are always looking for ideas of activities people may want to try. So a small group enjoyed a Friday morning circular 3-mile walk from Great Rissington followed by a stop-off at the Lamb. A second walk saw the group set off from Bourton and do a circular 4-mile tour taking in the church at Wyck Rissington. We hope to continue these walks once a month. Everyone is welcome to join us. If you would like to be kept informed of the dates and locations of our next walks, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
