‘Proud to Care Live’ is a unique careers event for local people to discover the many career opportunities in health and social care across Gloucestershire.
Covid-19 has shown just how important our key workers are and we urgently need new health and social care workers in Gloucestershire now more than ever.
Care workers make a real difference to someone’s life, whether that’s helping them to stay safe in their own home or in residential care, or by helping them with every day activities.
‘Proud to Care Live’ will showcase the wide variety of health and social care career opportunities available now in Gloucestershire, working with people of all ages, children and adults, who have care and support needs.
It takes place on Sunday 17 October at Kingsholm Stadium, from 10am to 1pm.
Over 34 employers will be on hand to welcome visitors and chat about the career opportunities available. They will also be conducting informal interviews on the day with people who are ready to discover the right care career for them.
