Update: 5 September 2019
Pleased to see that the Mitchell Way roundabout wall is being repaired to a good standard.
Update: June 5 2019
Linbo lowered the height of the wall as you access Mitchell Way at the behest of vocal residents. Something I always felt unnecessary, as the reasoning never seemed plausible. They argued that vehicle sighting before you cross the Barrington Road was inadeqaute. This reasoning seems to be long forgotten as the weeds and tree growth today make the argument rather null and void.
However, a new Belisha beacon controlled crossing is hopefully planned to make the crossing safe for all regardless of the argument, after a push by Cllr Torris, Cllr Nigel Moor and others.
The other pictures are of the damaged wall that is yet to be repaired following a tractor and trailer failing to negotiate the roundabout. Hopefully, it will be repaired soon.
