RLHS talk Friday 11th March 7.30pm Upper Rissington SCHOOL Hall

From RLHS, Susan Brown.
We were so disappointed to have to cancel our talk on RAF Brize Norton earlier this month, but luckily we have rebooked for FRIDAY 25th March at 2.30pm. I will send a reminder nearer the time.
Our next talk on Friday 11th March at 7.30pm in the Upper Rissington SCHOOL Hall GL54 2PL is entitled “William Morris and the Car Industry in Oxford”, a talk by Alastair Lack. In 1912 Morris announced the arrival of the Morris-Oxford light car. Morris has been called the “least known influential figure of the last century”. Alastair will tell us about the life of Morris, the history of his company to the present BMW works in Cowley.
Alastair Lack is an Oxford Guide who read History at Oxford and then joined the BBC World Service for 26yrs.
