Maybe fashion is the incorrect word, but I have never known so much interest in wild flowers in our village and there is no doubt they do look beautiful.
Take a look at the Poppies after the rain. The water droplets forming on the buds.
I note that a patch of wild flowers have been protected by plastic fencing adjacent to Sopwith Road. If the village is going to take the flowers seriously in this area, it would be appropriate to suggest to the Parish Council that some proper fencing and signage be erected. In fact, proper signage would be more than adequate, as the fencing is rather unnecessary.
NB: Since learned that the fencing was erected to protect the wild flowers from the mower.
